A Creative dance class for Children aged 7-11 years. This class follows an holistic approach and offers an opportunity for Children to explore movement and dance through games, creative exercises and guided improvisation. Pupils will also learn short Contemporary dance phrases and choreography tasks. These classes aid confidence building, risk taking, problem solving and team work in a safe and encouraging environment where children can explore their creativity with no judgement. Each session will focus on a different theme through story telling and movement.

Classes are led by Holly Warren. Holly trained as a dancer at London contemporary dance school graduating in 2005. She then worked as a freelance dance artist and teacher in London before gaining a PGCE in dance Secondary and delivering dance to Children aged 4-18 in schools and within the community. Holly is interested in how dance can aid emotional and physical wellbeing within children and has designed these classes with the hope of inspiring children to think outside the box and to have confidence in their own abilities as individuals.
